May 7th 2007 Military Road to Lough Dan
 
The day started a little cold but the temperature soon increased as the walk went down in to a lovely forest track. We trekked down through the forest and the track ends and brings you down along the river bank. The river was quite low due to the fine weather of recent times. This river track brings you down by the Glen Mhuire carved granite rock and out to the most amazing little Oasis you could ever hope to find.

A fantastic day out with a great bunch of people. It was a cold windy day up a steep enough climb, but what other way would you want to spend a Sunday afternoon. Until the next time......
